Day 1 22-09-14: Introduction and Blueprints

Introduction:
This blog will document all the progress I have made in Gardening whilst staying at my Sister-in-law's mother's house (Louise) in Rotorua New Zealand.

My plan is to spend 1 hour a day working on the garden and blogging my progress (with pictures), nice n simple - I have done no gardening before so this will be a learning experience for me, but no worries cos the weather here is awesome :D

Any feedback or comments are welcome and appreciated, I'm ready to learn :)

Unfortunately my camera is a little bit broke (the black dot in every picture).

Day 1: 23-09-14
Today I made a rough drawing of the current state of the garden (it's pretty big!), documented some ideas to discuss with Louise and started a plan for tomorrow.

Rough Drawing:
You can't really see much from this but here it is anyway haha:

Ideas to discuss:
Security light outside wood shed
Chicken Coup
Herb Plants
Flower Bed at door
Vegetable Patches
Path to wood shed / end of garden
Stars to bottom level of garden (currently only middle level)
Gate to Next door
Options for view from window
Options for where to store bikes

Short term plans:

Review equipment in garage
Clean back area of Garden
De-weed Vegetable patch
De-weed area in front of Garage
Re-draw Garden with new plan
Determine flowers for flower bed and vegetables for vegetable patch (research)

Here are some pictures of what it looks like in no particular order:
